Prices are super high. The burger itself is super thin.

A very good quarter pound hamburger and generous serving of French fries

Good food, cant go wrong there.

They are allowing dining in. Food was excellent, as always.

This is an awesome classic American burger joint. The atmosphere is great, and the food is fairly prices and very tasty.

Fred is Dead! Fred obviously sold out, no longer here! Cheap little pre- whatever burger, hot, set on top of lettuce, onion and tomato, Sad! Was the only customer in there at noon, having to listen to a very loud conversation of the two couples, cook and cashier included, talking very loud in a language I am evidently too ignorant to identify, no wonder we resort to faster food, Doh!

They have very quick service the Fry's are nice and thick. I had a vanilla malt which was very tasty and a veggie burger. Everything was good. We ate there which was a treat. This is the first time I have eaten there.

Fantastic burgers. Why eat baby fast-food the burgers here are great , butter buns and the shakes are excellent. A must eat burger

Good low key burger joint in alpine small menu worth a stop if your hungry in area and want a burger, hotdog chili cheese fries shakes this is the spot.

Good burger at a reasonable price. Good fries too. Its kind of a dumpy place though and in need of some updating. Especially the mens bathroom.

Cooked to order, we ordered the half lb. Burger and Frys. From grill to table food was hot and tasty, not like the fast food changes were you get your burgers cold. The shakes are thick and delicious, Fred's is up there with In-N-out if get the chance go you won't be disappointed.

Great atmosphere with a 50s drive in diner vibe. The surf and turf burger was delicious, and service was prompt and courteous.Drive thru, eat in or take out. Clean dining area.

Business needs to do top to bottom cleaning, customer area and food prep area. Over all appearances of place looks questionable. Staff may consider company clothing not street duds

Old timey diner style burger joint in rural alpine california. I grew up in campo so I've been goin to Fred's on days we would run Into town since I was a kid .

If you love hot dogs like I do you'll love Fred's. My wife likes their burgers. They have dill pickles and all. Plus their chilly doesn't have beans. Just the way I like it.

Good old fashioned burgers. If you are in Alpine this is probably the best burgers in town. This was my first cooking job over 15 years ago. Thanks Beau.

Forgot an item I ordered so I had to drive all the way back from home for them 2 fix it. Thought they could've done better for my inconvenience.

This is not the Fred's Burgers that it once was! The staff, maybe one person taking orders gets behind if there is more than two people in line. The tables are not well keep, or stocked, Cleanliness of tables, floors, and surrounding areas are not well keep! The amount of extras, such as french fries seems to have been cut down to only 10 per order!!! The famous milk shakes and malts, the size has been cut in have! With all that said,... the prices have increased! Not a famous location any more!

My first time visit here. Wondering Fred’s burger is local one or national wide chain burger store .... anyway... very good restaurant. Good decoration. Inside very bright and clean. We all love it and definitely want back again at next time.

Amazing place to stop for a great tasting burger. The malts are very tasty. I got my food quick, it was hot and everything tasted great. Nice atmosphere, very friendly staff, you feel welcomed. The decore is fun and inviting. The price is reasonable. I'll be going back many times.

I have been coming here for years because I loved the grilled chicken sandwich!! The best I have ever had!! It “was” thick and juicy but the last 2 times I have been there (just left there) the chicken is different, it’s thin and dry 😩 why did you change it ?

Their Malts are the Best in each county and Their chili cheese fries are to die for, thay will lettuce wrap anything on their menu for you

Disgusting place. Cook does not use gloves to pick up meat or wash his hands. Food department was called and they have a case open

Good food...really needs a remodeling but I here the owners of the property are tight wads... slum lords if you will... known to have a very bad attitude with everyone... We stopped going due to the nature of the owners of the mall not because of Fred's Burgers.

Kind of a hidden away place that if you weren't looking for it you would drive right by the little strip center it was in. Pretty decent food, good portions, slower service. I think because everything is cooked as you order they need a little extra time to complete your order. I would go there again.

I love eating inside where you can see all the old advertisement signs. It's a fun place to have dinner plus the malts are really delicious

Ben and I went there just to grab a good burger. But this was much more then just a "good" burger! I had a chili cheese burger!!! City was amazing! Andy had the half bacon... He loved it! This is our new burger joint for sure!
